Brother Ashur,
To answer your question, no, no one is deleting my messages from AINA. The reason for staying away is because I am so tired of just reading and getting engaged in negative debates. Lately, on AINA there is no progress being made as I see the learned sons and daughter of my nation in constant clashes. I just get exhausted from listening to the same argument said in different ways. I firmly now believe it is a hobby/addiction for some of us.I just wish we could direct this energy outwards and not inwards. We are not each others enemies. God knows, we have plenty of those.
In my humble opinion my friend, we are not making progress and no matter how anyone will answer this post the bottom line is we are wasting an inordinate amount of our energies killing each other with words.
I am yet to see anyone putting out a constructive message to the affect that we do not care to take sides be it individuals, parties, denomination and/or church prelates but rather put his nation first by doing whatever is possible to reconcile those that are at odds with each other for the sake of this nation. Taking sides, is NOT in the best interest of this nation because we have been doing this for hundreds of years and it has not gotten us anywhere. We are too few to be divided and that makes this nation that much more precious.
I am upset but it is never hate.
Khona Ashur, what I sense in many of these forums is hate and that is what is slowly killing my dream of a unified nation.
I know where you stand but above all I have no doubt about your love for your nation. This is not the case with everyone.
