“It ended as quickly as it had started when Kanna asked His Holiness, “How is this problem going to be solved?” Our beloved Mar Denkkha replied, “You started it, you solve it”!”
*** This is not going to solve our problems. We have a church under assaults by many individuals and organizations. Kanna is not going to solve anything. We have passed that stage. Mar Dinkha. should have ordered him to instruct his party to withdraw its support for Soro and stay away from our church’s affairs. Kanna knows very well of the role his party played regarding Soro.
Mar Dinkha is the 111th Patriarch of one of the greatest churches that the Christianity has ever seen and will ever see. Mar Dinkha’s predecessors gave their holy blood for this church and nation. Mar Benyamin Shimmun in his short life of 33 years did more for us than many Patriarchs put together. He led this nation in most the critical period. Was it nor for Mar Benyamin’s army comprised of the Assyrian tribes of Hakkari, our nation would have been totally wiped out. Mar Dinkha should think of the importance of his role.
Mar Dinkha must come on TV and state the following:
1. Give his full and unconditional support for the Mar Yosip parish and Mar Meelis.
2. He should specifically state that the decision to expel Soro was made by all the bishops present.
3. He should re-affirm his standing that the he believes in only one name for our nation. He should be clear that the word “Assyrian” will not be deleted from our church and its books.
4. He should put Rev. Adel and David on notice that they have no business advocating Zowaa in their church. If they want to have any career in our church, they must stay away from Zowaa or any other political party.
5. He should condemn Zowaa’s interference in our church’s affairs.
6. He should thank those organizations that gave their support for this church.
7. He should condemn the Chaldean Church’s interferences in our church’s affairs.Enough of beating around the bushes. We are getting very impatient.
