"In regard to the program for the young Assyrian toddlers, AssyriaSat can buy cartoon movies and trsanslate them to the Assyrian language as the Latin do in this country."

While I praise your good will Nahrain, I must wholeheatedly disagree. I did some research on this very same issue this past summer. I actually spoke with someone at Viacomm. If you don't know, they are one of the largest [parent] companies (i.e. they own several other companies and groups). Many cartoons one sees out there go through them. When I spoke with one of the representatives, my suspicions were comfirmed. Many of the cartoons are specially crafted and tailored to indoctrinate the youth that watches them - our children among them. Many large parent companies are known to either give oversight or commands to those who direct/run the smaller companies (e.g. the company that produces the cartoons) and in many cases, the storylines, story morals, and ideas must meet standards and requirements set by those higher up in the hierarchy. Just pay close attention to many of the cartoons (even going historically). They are tailored to change the youth.

Now, the point of AssyriaVision/AssyriaSAT is to give the people the truth...the truth on and about Assyrians. If we were to take American cartoons and translate them, we are actually SPEEDING UP the process of allowing our children to become Americanized. They might learn language, but they will undoubtedly lose idioms, traditions, and many other things.

There is only one way to do this...and that is to create OUR OWN cartoons with our own morals, with our own language BUT ALSO with our own traditions, idioms, and culture. If do not do this, you will see idiomatic expressions completely ERASED from our language in less than half a generation and you will see these kids celebrating a culture different than ours.

Regards.
