The 60-year-old president whose administration was responsible for the killing of over 100,000 Iraqis and displacement of nearly 2 million Iraqi people since the beginning of the war in March of 2003 was a Christian from Texas, although a panel of US investigators in the legislative branch say they still cannot find a plausible reason for his wanting to invade Iraq.
George Walker Bush was two years old when he and his parents moved from his birthplace of New Haven, Connecticut after it was discovered they could make more money in Texas, specifically in the oil industry. They lived in Texas until Bush was accepted into Yale University in 1964 where in his senior year he became a member of the secretive Skull and Bones society.
His administration had initially refused to consider alternatives to war and initially refused to acknowledge the absence of WMDs in Iraq.
Various reports show that Bush, a sub-par student, lazy Air National Guardsman, alcoholic, drug-user, and later a "Born Again" Christian, "had a deep interest in using religion as a means of manipulating the masses in order to accomplish his family's goals in the Middle East,” according to former political acquaintances. Neighbors who lived near him and the country over which he has presided for years "don’t know the first thing about him.”
