Let me emphasis one other point here: you do not have to be a member of this church to support it. If you are an Assyrian and you consider yourself to be a true Christian, you have a duty to protect this ancestral church from those who are conspiring to destroy its independence.

Read the history of your ancestors’ church and know its greatness. Read about the life of its martyrs such as Mar Benyamin Shimmun. The church of your ancestors has survived many calamities in the hands of its enemies. No true Assyrian should allow this church be destroyed.

Make it your nationalistic and Christian duty to protect it. The church belongs to the Assyrian Nation. It is an inheritance from your great Assyrian ancestors. Be proud of it and work as hard as you can to protect it. Your work will not only serve this church, it will serve your Assyrian Nation as well.

A conspiracy against this church is a conspiracy against our Assyrian Nation.
