Mr. Persi,

I have openly confessed in the past and for several times that I was raised in a Chaldean house. A house that raised me a good faithful Catholic. Trust me, I swear on it on my life, and on the lives of my precious children that now I hate every second of all that time, whence I new myself as an Assyrian.

It is fact indeed that all of our family elders acknowlede that originly we were all members of the ASSYRIAN CHURCH OF THE EAST. America, and its advance capabilities enhanced me to acquire the knowledge of our own ASSYRIAN history. I brought home one book at a time. And during the wee hours of the night, before the bed time, I started reading my own history books, what happenned to me over 2000 years ago. With tears in my eyes, I saw myself how much I was discriminated against even from so-called "The Roman Catholic Church." It opened my eyes to our Assyrian reality.

Do you know that for example, the ASSYRIAN "Maronites Denomination" used to conduct their church mass (Litergy) in the Assyrian language 100% until in the 17th century, the Roman Pope dictated on them to change everything into Arabic to "PLEASE THE ARAB ANGER." What is Happenning to them now? They even lost their true identity. exactly like our own Assyrians of the Chaldean rite. Trying to please the hegemony of the nomads of Arabia.

Also, In our church sermon, as a Catholic how many times I and others have heard the unchristian sermons insulting our Assyrian kings, our own foundation, and the pillars to the world civilization, that God has punished them and turned them into beasts of the forest. How many more we have heard from our sinful Catholic priests warning us not to befriend any members of the Assyrian Church of the East, and urging us "Even if there is a thorn under your feet, bleeding with pain, don't stop in front of an ASSYRIAN CHURCH OF THE EASTs' premises but keep going." What a christian teaching? No wonder why Christianity in Middle East is fading away.

It is really a very sad day in our own history. I urge our Assyrians tp study more about our own Assyrian history to find out who destroyed the first Christian theologian monasteries in south east Turkey, and then ask themselves, why? Then you will understand every word I said. Thank you, I love you too.
