The most recent debacle fomenting inside the disgruntled organization within the Assyrian nation that tried so hard to defame, and tamper its nation's name, ASSYRIA, and which all know for fact as the (ASSYRIAN) Democratic Movement, AKA, Zawaa, is quickly fragmenting and its walls of past strength is peeling off faster than the thawing of the Autumn snow in the heat of bright days of Spring.
Why not when many realize the quagmire, and ugly pogrom of such supporters of the not so fine Assyrian organization like Fred Aprim, and Ninos Younan who both are constantly befalling with harsh criticisms on their nation and their national church.
Zawaa is peculiar than any other Assyrian organization breathing in the field of national struggle. Going deep into its early establishment, Zawaa was a more true Assyrian aspiration. An organization that cared about the unity among the Assyrian political organizations and other religious entities collectively. Zawaa was one of ardent member of the Assyrian National Congress, born in the diaspora in early August 1983. Also Zawaa dared in front of the Iraqi brutal regime to speak the truth about their unalienable rights as ASSYRIANS. Zawwa fought uniting with other Assyrian freedom fighters i.e., Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party's militiamen in N. ASSYRIA. Never tried to exclude themselves from their kinship inside and outside Assyria. The true early bereaved leadership of Zawaa were stronger than death, because they were more Assyrians. This unique phenomenon quickly eclipse, and the challenges of the movements took a backseat rollercoaster ride.
When the founders of the movement were turned to the tyrant of the Iraqi Baath authorities from within another Assyrian informer, widely believed by many Assyrians worldwide to be non other then Younadam Kanna the ideology and struggle changed drastically as an element used by the enemy of the nation against the very existence of the nation ASSYRIA. Ever since Zawaa landed in golden tray in the hand of Younadam Kanna, the present and for life General Secretary of the movement, the latter alienated themselves from all former Assyrian national allies. Zawaa prefers to be taken as a snapshot close ally to any Kurdish organization than any counter Assyrian part. Zawaa corrupted the minds and hearts of all Assyrian Christian denominations by instructing, through their media monopoly to repel rather then attach and work with each others. Zawaa called the Assyrian multitudes according to their many religious denominations rather then addressing them all as Assyrians. They used the same harpoon tactics that the enemy of the Assyrian nations used a century ago to divide and concur this sacred historic nation ASSYRIA. And as many of our esteemed readers might know more about the ongoing disputes that fomented and maliciously designed by the usurper, Kanna, who never failed to associate himself with the Kurds as their dandy boy, tried to bisect the body and soul of the Assyrian nation when he again dared to call us a nation with slashes, never in the history of any nation ever to be represented as such. After miserably failing, he devilishly and without consulting any ASSYRIAN organization or institute, other then his associates, the Kurds, he surprised many when he introduced the combined names. And now his sole affiliation with an excommunicated former bishop, whom himself too tried against the will of the church synod to erase the name of our nation, ASSYRIA, from the church of our forefathers, The Holy Apostolic Assyrian Catholic Church of the East. Yes, They are the real quagmire to their own very existence. Enjoy it. Kanna should be asked to step down if any among the Zawaa groups have the guts to ask him to do so.
