i typed a long reply and my browser crashes...lol

Anyway, basically what i was going to say was that even though those translations i gave where from non-peshita sources, it is more accepted among modern scholars that the greek bible is the original, and the peshita is just the translation from greek originals. Only our church, chaldean, maronite and some other syrian orthodox churches believe in the aramaic primacy, but thats it (ie its our word against the world). So this is probably why those translations i provided are more accepted as i said earlier than the aramaic translations Sargon gave. But now i understand where this mix up comes from, so thanks for that.

Oh and Thanks for the PDF books too. I'll look into them later. Do you have any history books on middle east (or specifically betnahrain) between 0bc to the 1900s? If so, i would really appreciate a copy (pdf)!
