I was appointed by His Holiness MarDinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch in February 2004 as amember of the MOOTWA 13. Dr. Kasha recommended me to His Holiness to be the Chairman of St. Andrews.
So, please do not LIE. State the facts as is. DO NOT LIE. PLEASE.
My relations with the Kahsa Dr. took a turn to the worst becuase he felt that I was too close to His Holiness. So, he started his manouvers at the committee by telling them that Martin is on His Holiness' side, be careful. He wanted to have full control of the committee, independent of the MOOTWA and away from his Holiness' guidlines.
So, donot LIE. Go and ask the MOOTWA. His Holiness knew from day one of my close relations with His Grace Mar Bawai. He admired that relation. Until the last day of the Synod's meeting, I kept close contacts with his Holiness. As a matter of fact I shuttled the clergy to and from the hotel & attended a couple of their lunches during the synod. I had a long and private conversation with His Holiness about the whole subject. His holiness knew and knows my stand. He may diagree with it, but he repsects it. So, people like you and others on this forum will have no impact on my stands with the church. Bad mouthing does not get you any way.
Our objective is to fix this chaos. Not spend time bad mouthing Martin Mirza or any supporter of this or that. So, Mr. Baddo, if you are a true St. Andrews Parish member, try to keep peace. Stop this cheap and dirty tactic of your and others on this forum. Believe me, this will not get us anywhere. The ship is sinking.
You are taking the liberty of calling His Grace by every name, without looking forward that a solution may be on the horizon. Wait and see three to four weeks from now. I will remind you.
What are you going to do if a peaceful solution is reached. Are you going to leave the church, because you don't like Mar Bawai? Or are you going to be guttsy enough to say I am sorry Mar Bawai for calling tou this or that?
Do you think that good people are sitting doing nothing. Behind the scenes efforts are at full, I MEAN FULL scale to find a peaceful solution. So be careful what to write or say.
In closing, do not LIE PLEASE. I have not threatened anyone. I was not running for a senatorial position.
