Albert, the Jews did not believe because although they were (and still are) waiting for the messiah. They did not expect the coming of the King to be as it was - a poor, humble man one of which we did not esteem highly and whose grave was placed among the thieves (Isaiah 53). Having heard so much about the Messiah, they expected him to arrive in Glory, descending from heaven on a golden chariot, wearing a robe of jewels and demonstrating his power with the click of his fingers. The image of the Lord was one of romanitcism and divine chauvinism that the Jews created for themselves. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. (1 Corinthians 1:27)

Yes, this is true. They accepted the mystery of our Heavenly Father and were the first nation to believe in Jesus Christ as His Son. (however, many individuals accepted this earlier because St. Paul went preaching to the masses immediately after Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.)

This is true as referred to my first paragraph. They are still waiting for the Messiah in general. They have been blinded from the time of Christ – many have not believed and are still waiting to slaughter the heifer for his arrival.
