Farewell to Martin Mirza and Some Advise to others

Dear All,

As you can see, Mr. Mirza chose not to apologize for insulting the Bet-Nahrain forum in his April 13th post. He was given 24 hours to rethink his decision or even seek advice from his higher authorities but he stubbornly maintained his position. Therefore, he has been banned from this forum.

To avoid further incidents such as Mr. Mirza lets all be responsible posters. It is true that forums are a much more relaxed and lenient environments, but let’s not confuse this comfortable zone for a cheap and low standard environment. Bet-Nahrain Administrators are open minded individuals but they are not gate minded!

The suggestion is to always remember to review your message before you click on “post message”. Always ask yourself, how your message reflects on you, even if you are not using your real name. You may get away with remaining as anonymous to the rest of the posters, but the Admins are capable of searching your true identity in just a few seconds.

Some are here to communicate their message and opinion, and some are here to just socialize, which is fine. Most of our people are angry at everything that has been happening to our national identity and national church. Many are frustrated by the political failure we have been facing. It is ok to call a traitor, a traitor. It is ok to call a thief a thief. Call people for what they are and how they have represented themselves to the public. But to call a thief a “khmara” it is not appropriate. This just brings down the standard of this true Assyrian forum.

It is particularly difficult when the Admins are forced to delete a post from a true Assyrian supporter of the Assyrian identity and the ACOE when that individual makes inappropriate comments regarding the Ex-Bishop’s family members (mother, sister, etc…). Leave family members out! For all you know Ex-Bishop’s mother may be sorry to have ever given birth to a con like Ex-Bishop!

Let’s all say farewell to Mr. Mirza and pray that he will see light someday.
