Ninev,
For the benefit of the doubt, I understand that you are staying true to the former bishop because he ordained you a deacon and you have many other personal interests in the Church.
That being said, let's say you work in a very expensive shoe storea and you are fired. For whatever reason, you decide to take all the shoes with you. Your defense is that you were put in charge of managing the shoes so in your belief, the shoes are yours!
In the real world, can anyone, Christian or not, justify this?
Ninev, this is why everyone is bitter, upset, angry. If the former bishop, his clergy, and all his followers bowed their heads, like good Christians, and left on a mission to spread the truth, things would be different today.
I even think that many people would feel sorry for them and maybe even support them.If someone comes into your parents house, takes down their pictures, stages a hostile takeover, talks against them AND makes them go to court to fight for what is theirs, would you stand for that!?
I already know the answer but feel free to answer. Thanks and God Bless,
Rachel
