Dear Akhone Fil

I appologise on my behalf if you feel unwelcomed here for the insults, believe me I feel for you. I only insult when I am insulted when someone attacks on what I believe, which is My family (the church and Assyrian name and identity).

I can see that you do not like my point of view, lol. I am sorry my brother in our beloved nation Assyria. I respect every body (in the political arena I mean) but I do not respect someone who tells my friend on a national radio one thing, and he goes against all what he said the next. I do respect Mar Bawai's supporters, for the believe (and truely believe in him as I support all other leaders of our church supporters who believe everything is the same as it is shown and in both cases, I do not support their politician supporters who use their names to create a mess). I will respect every politician who is true and ganuine. If Kanna had said to Wilson on the community radio that he would support what he is supporting now, then I would have respected him too (at least for his integrity and pride in his own word) but I do not, because he changed and I consider that he is insulting us by telling us one thing and the next he goes and does other thing. Akhone Azizi, I am not even a member of Bet Naharain and the reason for my support for Sargon Dadisho is not for any personal reason. I do not even know the guy and never even met him, but the words of Assyria and the church that he is so defending, I love it. Trust me, if he changes too, I will be the first to make fun of him too and try to put him down.

I believe man lives by the word of God and by what he believes in. You believe in something and stick by it, even if wrong, at least you will have an admirer, as long as your intentions are the best. I believe you understand what I mean.
In regards to withdrawing my PARTIAL support that I had towards Mar Bawai, was not for the sole reason of the documents, but for what he did not oppose strongly but a mere "THESE HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY EXAGERATED" as you said, sin is a sin, period and I agree with that 100%. so I wanted (desperately) to hear him saying what you and I think about those priests, but I found myself like an idiot when I heard him saying what I quoted but did not oppose it. I found it insulting to me as to how can a person who teaches that YOU CAN NOT FOOL YOUR OWN CHILDREN, yet he tried to make a plot like that with those idiots that I still do not trust. If I was one of them, TRUST ME, EITHER I WOULD HAVE TOLD HIM TO GET LOST RIGHT THERE AND THEN OR JUST SIMPLY REPORTED THAT TO MY AUTHORITIES. the fact that they made the decision to undermine the authority of the church by not disclosing this, makes me again wonder, what play is going on?

In regards to reforms that you mentioned, I can say that we need more than that. the sign is right before our eyes, with what is happening in our church. but I can say that changing Raza Qadisho would hardly change anything (and I am not against it, for we already have a priest doing Raza Qadisha in English and I am sure that church would not mind that at all too) but the reformations that we need are much deeper than that. in regards to changing the name of the church from THE HOLY APOSTOLIC CATHOLIC CHURCH OF THE EAST, to just a simple Assyrian church of the east, brings two problems, 1 is that we just drew a line on our 2000 years heritage for a political reason, and 2nd is that we are now inferior to the Roman Chruch, for WE WERE AND ARE THE APOSTOLIC AND CATHOLIC CHURCH since 37 years of Christ my Lord and God. I can not believe that all our forefathers were wrong for not dealing with the satan and now we felt it is alright to befriend the wolf so that we, in turn gain something. WERE OUR FOREFATHERS STUPID OR HOLY? this is the question we must ask to know the answer as to when we went wrong and we are still going wrong.

with the name issue, we can not come to a grip (as a nation) if it comes from a foreign soruce. TRUST GOD AND HIS SON CHRIST ingloryfying this name of Assyria and men of Nineveh, I wonder why we should bring any other name? the true unity is in one name and one ideology as well as one faith, for as long as you and I have different faiths, ideologies and names in our nation, we will be dreaming to have anything as a united brotherhood. Believe it or not. this is not being fanatic but being reasonable and watchfull. if I am wrong please correct me.

I love what you said "No one stays on the face of this earth forever. The mark I want to leave is the fact that I was willing to listen and talk. I do not want you to remember me as the one that threw that big stone to hurt you and make you bleed" Akhone, the stone that some one like you can throw at me, would be a stone that has manners and is willing to talk and not offend and for that reason, I respect you even if you are against my thought. A great sportsman is not the one who wins, but who loses graciously and that means if I lose in your logic and common sence I must have the integerity and pride in myself to accept it and if I win, then you are still my brother. for this reason, I can see you that you are a true sports man by when you said that I am willing to listen and talk. unfortunately not many of us are like that.

I have answered you in regards to Mr. Kanna in the very first parragraph. Kanna should have stayed by what he meant to do, that is why I withdrew my partial support from Mar Bawai, for, throughout all his speeches, he never ever said that he wanted to convert us to Catholicism, but when those docs appeared, he did not even put a fight. I do not like to be mocked at. I supported him (on some bases of reformation, wholeheartedly, but not conversian). In regards to choosing sides, I must say to you that taking sides is a necessasity for a debate to happen for the truth to come out. you and I have already chosen sides, and in future you may change sides as I did, but it all matters on how much the truth means to you. As for the rest of allegations against Mar Bawai, I need to see the court's final results (unfortunately this is not my decision but the decision that our fathers, including Mar Bawai took) to make my final decision as to whether to call him Mar or by his name, and sincerely I would like to tell you that if the allegations are proven against him, I would hate myself for even calling him Mar.
