Silent Demonstration Addendum

I think it's important to add something. While Younadam Kanna doesn't represent us, it is important to say who does accurately represent us and what our needs are. I also believe that we should remind them a bit of who we are and what we want. I added this in the comments section of my petition, I urge everyone to do the same thing. If you feel that my requests are conservative (eg. you believe we need more than just reservation status, but an actual country), please go ahead and change it. But otherwise, just cut and paste. Thanks:
Please remember the Assyrians in further policy making in Iraq. They are, as you probably know, the indigeneous people of Iraq, and much like the Native Americans of the United States, they deserve some sort of reservation status in that country to preserve their over 5,000 year old heritage and language, which, incidentally, is a crucial part of both the origins of Christianity and Civilization. Thank you for your help.
