Kanno For Congress

Dear All,
We are proud of our Assyrian brother, John Kanno who is running for the U.S Congress. John has a great chance to win so far. All the Assyrian residents of the U.S can make financial donations to his campaign and those who live in his district could vote for him.
We are great at pinpointing the negatives in our community; after all we have been bombarded with the negatives. But, here is something positive that we can do. Helping John is helping ourselves. We, Assyrians have proven when we choose to stand together and support a good cause, we can do wonders.
I have known John for nine years now. He is a wonderful man with strong national values and family ethics. He is not your typical politician who would promise you the sky during his campaign only to stand in the congress to change your national identity like Ana Eshoo did.
John comes from a nationalist and patriotic family who fought and protected hundreds of Assyrians during the Semele Massacre. He does not talk about it often because he does not like to brag about his family and he definitely does not approve of using such stories for his own benefit. But the truth is the truth. History does not lie, nor does it forget.
Let’s get John to Congress and start working like the other ethnics in the U.S do. He will make sure our voice is heard. As he said in his speech, the road to Nineveh is through Washington DC.
