You are totally misinformed. You might have received education in an anti-Assyrian theological institution. How dare you say that our Assyrian forefathers are infidels (Khampa), and then you rush pacifying us into saying that, Oh no! not you today but your ancestors. How foolish, naive, and vague is that statement?
Have you not read when God called the most pious Jew among all the Israelis, Jonah, forced him to go to Nineveh, asking them to repent, and upon his arrival, he witnessed that God wants to show Jonah that the Assyrians are in fact more pious, and godly religious than the Jews who are bragging about their faith?
Remember who was worshipping the golden calf in Mount Saini, after all what God did for them? Maybe you need to twist your coin.
No race bashing, just facts from your Christian Bible.
Have you not read about God calling the Assyrians, his mighty hand, his magnificent work, his iron hand against the godlessness of the jews. And how many times God warned the Jews, that he will send the Assyrians, his beloved work to punish the Jewish Khampa? Read Isaiah, he loved the Assyrians full believe in God, and his heart was full of jealousy of the true Assyrian worship to omnipotent God.

I believe from all my heart and faith the it means exactly what beloved sister Shamiran says, that it means:-I am Ashur I am.(Full stop). Yes it might be a shock for many, but give it sometime and they all will come to conclusion to believe in it. Thank you.
P.S. Ibraham, the pillar of the Jewish faith comes from the land of Assyria, so why should we argue about the legitimacy of our forefathers' holiness? Haaaaa (Hebrew_Oraya, the river crosser. Tigris, and Euphrates)
