My answer is "no".
My answer is based on historic facts that I have read. However, some people might disagree and say, the answer "yes" that Vatican does have the power to be mother of all churches.The best answer can come from sociologist, or a student whom took few courses in sociology.
However, destruction toward the existence of Assyrian people from their way of life, be it theological, or other wise is not acceptable to scientific sociologist, humanist, and international laws.Vatican did nothing to Lebanon when mostly catholic Christian were massacred from 1975 up to 1992, nor does have any power to make life of Christian in Middle East a better and protected one.
The act of Vatican from term of Vatican supremacy is touchy to those whom do have strong believe in God, as can cause an inner disturbance and pain to find such truth of evil act under name of Christianity. Meaning, people will be paralyzed for some time before their judgment can be their guide, because it been programmed that Pope is considered god of Earth, and God is considered God of all universe.
Anyway, it is important for people to have an open mind, or at least to hear the truth.
What they will do next, and how their believe will become, that I don’t know about..
