Persi,

I agree with most of what you said EXCEPT one crucial statement that you made, which was:
"As a settlement incentive, we may want to waive our attorneys’ fees and costs and write it off as a cost of our church’s stupid mistake of putting up with Soro for approximately 20 years."

We should not waive our attorneys' fees/costs for the former bishop's "abuse" of our church. He should not be given any incentives whatsoever. By us agreeing to some kind of incentives is like saying "you put us through hell, but we will get our churches back regardless of how much it costs us, and once we do we will give you an incentive by waivering our attorney fees/costs". That is unacceptable by all means!
