The Assyrian Civil War

Dear All:

I am using this expression even though may not correspondence with our situation, because a Civil War will be between one single nation in a geographical territory, as ASSYRIANS our geographical territory is not in one single area but we are scattered all over the world.

Our fighting despite our small numbers is on many fronts, we are fighting on keeping one single name which is Assyrian, our fighting is to keep our denominations united and preventing one single denomination to be divided, our fighting is to side with one political group against the other political group.

No problem with a such CIVIL WAR as long as is in a civil way, UNFORTUNATELY if you read the people minds and ideas you will be ashamed to find people so low by using UNETHICAL language while we as Assyrians are proud to be the first CIVILIZED PEOPLE .

The ASSYRIAN NAME:

Yes, I am pro one SINGLE name which is ASSYRIAN, but that doesn't mean to be disrespected to those who are pro the compound name, we have the give and take policy, and we shouldn't stuck there while our people are in a worst situation in back home that can't leave their houses and feed their families, and here in DIASPORA waging wars of nonsense at each other.

THE ASSYRIAN CHURCH:

I do believe that the Assyrian Churches be friendly with each other to a point to make a semi unity , not waging wars against each other, and I do believe that in each denomination people of integrity from our hierarchy not fight to achieve some EMPTY SLOGANS of REFORM while our people in back home living in fear and despair, it is not fair to wage these WARS of REFORMS or whatever be called and spending monies that instead could feed our people for months in back home, I think it is time to our CLERGY no matter how much educated may be to understand our simple and drastic situation that a fifth grade student understand. I will quote the Bible by these golden words: " I may be able to speak the languages of men and even of angeles, but if I HAVE NO LOVE, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanking bell..." I Corinthians 13: 1
So, if we love our people , we should try to strength its unity.

THE CORRUPTION:

The problem which our people inherited from the WEST unfortunately is the CORRUPTION which is devastating our souls, people are speaking to defend the Assyrian nation, but unfortunately are not able to defend it from these corrupts who are ROBBING this nation while the see themselves the only nationalists on this planet earth.

It is ironic who were Q.....sh puppets, Baaths stooges and so forth, TODAY they are ASSYRIAN OUTSPOKEN NATIONALISTS that could lead this nation to a bright future! we have a saying that A BLIND LEADING ANOTHER BLIND both will round up falling in a ditch.

In conclusion, I think it is time to REEXAMINE our situation thoroughly and learn from our mistakes , and we shouldn't forget that our situation is very PAINFUL very SAD that we what we are fighting for, NO BODY WILL BE IN OUR ANCESTRAL HOMELAND to harvest , so please let us be A CIVILIZED PEOPLE if we really are belong to that ASSYRIAN HOMELAND which is the CRADLE of CIVILIZATION !
