They are, as you probably know, the indigeneous peopl of Iraq, and much like the Native Americans of the United States, they deserve some sort of reservation status in that country to preserve their over 5,000 year old heritage and language, which, incidentally, is a crucial part of both the origins of Christianity and Civilization.
